We use cameras, microphones and editing gear commonly found in professional television settings. Our cameras are Sony DVCAM units that shoot in a native 16:9 widescreen format. These cameras are commonly utilized both for ENG (electronic news gathering) and documentary production. We digitally record simultaneously to DVCAM tape and hard drive to provide a backup margin of safety. We also utilize state of the art wireless microphones for high quality and unobtrusive audio. One question we are often asked is : Do you record in high definition? The simple answer is no. While most of our clients prefer the widescreen format, they have not upgraded as yet to the current Blu Ray HD standard. That said, we will produce in HD upon request. |
